About The Program

The Vahani Scholarship 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the Vahani Group* to students of Class 12. This scholarship aims to help students from economically challenging backgrounds in India to continue their higher education. This year, 60 selected students from diverse regions and academic backgrounds across the country will receive full tuition fees, stipends and other benefits.

*Vahani Scholarship is a non-profit organisation committed to empowering exceptionally bright, underprivileged students from India by providing scholarships to attend top universities. Vahani takes a holistic approach to education by also providing:

  • Internships
  • Career counseling
  • English language programmes
  • Skill-building workshops

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • hold an Indian citizenship
  • be currently studying in Class 12
  • have secured a minimum of 85% marks in Class 10
  • have an annual family income of less than ₹3,00,000
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • Full Financial Assistance: Covering academic and hostel/PG fees for the entire undergraduate degree.
  • Laptop Stipend: One-time stipend of ₹45,000 to buy a laptop.
  • Travel Stipend: One annual trip from the university to the student’s hometown.
  • Internet Stipend:  To ensure students have access to digital resources.
  • Personal Mentorship: Ongoing support throughout their undergraduate journey, focusing on skill development and employability after graduation.
Documents
  • Photograph of the applicant (JEPG/JPG/PNG format, less than 2 MB size)
  • Income certificate 
  • Markhsheets of Classes 10 and 11
  • Photograph of owned laptop, family, and vehicles (if applicable)

Documents required during the interview:-

  • Original Class 10 and 11 marksheet
  • Original income certificate issued that year
  • Original certificates (those mentioned in the form by the applicant)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

Step 3: Navigate to 'Apply Now - 2025' and click it.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click ‘Register’.
Step 5: Once registered, use the appropriate credentials to log in.
Step 6: Fill in the required information in the 9 provided sections to ensure that each section shows 100% completion.
Step 7: After providing the required information and documentation, submit the application.

Selection Criteria
  • Applicants will be shortlisted for interviews based on merit, extracurricular activities, consistency, and economic background. Selected candidates will face a second round of interviews.
  • Applicants who pass both rounds will receive a conditional letter for the scholarship.
  • The final scholarship will be awarded once the shortlisted candidates score a minimum of 85% in their Class 10 board examination and get admitted to an institution for an undergraduate course.
Terms and Conditions
  • Applicants must check their email regularly for updates regarding the scholarship.
  • The applicants must verify and get approval from the Vahani Scholarship Board before seeking admission to an institution.
  • Candidates must maintain above-average grades in their undergraduate degree course while under the tenure of this scholarship.
