About The Program

The University of Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarships 2026 is an opportunity provided by the University of Toronto to international students beginning their studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026. This scholarship financially supports the education of students at the university. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship that covers the Tuition fee, residence support, and other benefits.

 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an international student (i.e., a non-Canadian requiring a study permit).
  • be enrolled in the final year of senior secondary school in 2025/2026 or have graduated no earlier than June 2025
  • begin studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026.
  • be already attending post-secondary studies.
  • not be starting post-secondary studies in January 2026 at another post-secondary institution
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive a scholarship that covers the following for 4 years:

  • Tuition fee
  • Full residence support
  • Book expenses 
  • Incidental fees
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: There is no separate application for this scholarship. Students who have applied for at least one undergraduate programme at the university shall receive a private link once they have been nominated for the applied course

Last date to apply with documents: 07 November 2025

Selection Criteria

 The applicants will be selected based on their academic merit, letter of application, and endorsement by the referee. The Selection Committee may consider the applicant’s country of origin and may evaluate how well the intended programme of study aligns with the University’s strategic aims.

Terms and Conditions

Applicants may apply to up to three areas on their admission application; however, if awarded the Pearson Scholarship, it will be limited to their top-choice program at the time the scholarship decisions are made.
