About The Program

The PICAIS Fellowships 2026 are offered by the Passau International Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (PICAIS) at the University of Passau, Germany. This fellowship aims to promote excellent interdisciplinary research and foster collaboration between international scholars and University of Passau researchers. Selected fellows will receive variable benefits for research, including full access to university services, accommodation, living expenses, and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a postdoctoral researcher or early-career scholar
  • have a strong record of interdisciplinary and international research
  • demonstrate potential for advancing cross-disciplinary projects


Note:-

  • Fellows are expected to:
    • Stay in Passau for the duration of the fellowship.
    • Engage in joint research activities with University of Passau researchers
  • Proposals should clearly show collaboration with the University of Passau faculty.
