About The Program
The University of Birmingham India Postgraduate Chancellor's Scholarship 2026 is an opportunity provided by the University of Birmingham to students pursuing full-time postgraduate programmes at the University starting September 2026. To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time postgraduate programme starting September 2026.
- be entering the first year of a postgraduate programme based at Birmingham’s UK campus.
- meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
- be classed as domiciled in India.
- be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
Benefits
The selected candidates shall receive £10,000 towards tuition fees for a full-time, postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Birmingham's UK campus, starting in September 2026.

- Applicants must pay a £3,000 deposit by the deadline stated in their offer letter from the Admissions Office.
- They must have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
- Applicants shall submit their scholarship application directly after accepting their offer letter by the deadline of 31st May 2026.
- Upon enrolment in September 2026, applicants will pay their net tuition fees for the first year by 1 November, immediately following enrolment.
- The scholarship award may not be deferred.
