About The Program
The University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders (for International Students) 2026 is a merit-based financial award offered by The University of Winnipeg to recognise and support exceptional international students who demonstrate strong academic standing and outstanding leadership potential. Selected students will receive an award of up to $3,500.
The scholarship is open for the different categories:
- Undergraduate
- Graduate
- PACE
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be considered, an applicant must:
- be an international student
- be enrolling in their very first program at The University of Winnipeg
- hold the equivalent of a Canadian 80% grade average based on Grade 12 academic subjects used for admission (PACE applicants are assessed on post-secondary transcripts where applicable)
- demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- be registered as a full-time student and maintain that status throughout the award period
Note: The Undergraduate award cannot be held at the same time as the International Special Entrance Scholarship.
Benefits
Selected students will receive the following awards for the different categories:
- For Undergraduate: $5,000 (₹4,67,059.50)
- For Graduate: $5,000 (₹4,67,059.50)
- For Professional, Applied Continuing Education (PACE): $3,500(₹3,26,941.65)

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
