About The Program
The Bristol Master's Scholarship 2026-27 is an opportunity provided by the University of Bristol to students who have applied for postgraduate study at the University of Bristol. This scholarship financially aids the higher education of students at the University of Bristol. The selected candidates will receive an annual scholarship of £2,000 (approx. ₹1,91,000).
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have applied for a full-time Master's course (like an MA, MSc, LLM, or MRes) starting in fall 2025 at the University of Bristol
- qualify for the lower "home" tuition fees
- have already earned (or expect to earn) at least a 2:1 in their bachelor's degree
- meet at least one of the University's criteria for supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- not be a graduate from the University of Bristol
Note:-
- Students who have applied for a PGCE, PG CERT, PG DIP and (MSc) (R) programs are ineligible.
- Applicants who have a Master’s degree as part of their intercalation year are ineligible.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:-
- An annual scholarship of £2,000 (approx. ₹1,91,000), payable in two installments:
- £1,000(approx. ₹95,000) in mid-October 2025
- £1,000(approx. ₹95,000) in mid-January 2026
Note:- Awardees undertaking a two-year full-time programme will only receive the scholarship in the first year of study.

- The scholarship will be finalised only if the candidate has:
- An unconditional offer letter to study MA, MSc, LLM or MRes at the University of Bristol,
- Received a 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree.
- Successful applicants can be involved in either a one-year or a two-year full-time post-graduate taught programme at the University of Bristol.
