To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be a domicile of Haryana state
- have secured first position in the Class 10 and 12 annual CBSE examination from an institution in Haryana
- be pursuing higher studies at an institution in Haryana
- not be receiving funding from any other sources
Benefits
The award will be given to the students in the following pattern:-
For Class 10:
The top-performing CBSE students (one boy and one girl) of Class 10 from Haryana State are entitled to receive financial assistance if they continue their studies up to Class 12 and college degree. The government will cover all their educational fees until they finish their graduation. The yearly amount won't exceed ₹25,000 for Class 12 studies and ₹1,00,000 for college studies.
For Class 12:
This reward is for students (a boy and a girl) from Haryana who achieve the highest rank in the CBSE Class 12 exams. If they continue their education in any field, they'll receive an incentive equal to their yearly institution fees, up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000 per year. The incentive will be provided until they complete their college degree.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be called from students via the head of the institution. Students must have secured 92% or more in English, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Social Sciences and best one of the remaining subjects (for Class 10), and 90% or more in English and best four of the remaining subjects in Science (Medical & Non-Medical) Commerce and humanities after the declaration of results of the CBSE annual exam every year.
Selection will be done strictly on a merit basis, for 1 male and 1 female student from each class. If more than one student secures equal marks/percentage of marks, the award will be given to all such students.

Terms and Conditions
- There is no income limit for these awards.
- Students pursuing vocational courses are ineligible.
- The school Institution from where the examination has been passed should be situated in Haryana.
- Failed/compartment students will not be considered for this award in the future.
- Payment of the award will be done through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method.
