About The Program
The Sir C.V. Raman Scholarship is offered by the Government of Karnataka. The scholarship is a prestigious financial award designed to encourage and support meritorious students pursuing a science stream in degree courses (Bachelor of Science). Selected candidates will receive ₹5,000 per annum.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be enrolled in the science stream in Degree courses (Bachelor of Science)
- be if a first-year B.Sc. student studying at least two basic science subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology, botany, and zoology
- have secured 65% marks (General category) or 60% marks (SC & ST categories) in the previous examination
- have passed the previous examination on the first attempt
