About The Program
The Scoville Peace Fellowship 2026 is an opportunity provided by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, John D. and Catherine T. to graduates with a strong interest in issues of peace and security. The selected fellows will receive practical knowledge and experience of working with nonprofit, public-interest organizations.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have received a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the past few years.
- have a background and strong interest in one or more of the approved policy issues covered by the fellowship.
- have excellent academic accomplishments.
- possess good written and oral communication skills.
- preferably have prior experience in public-interest activism or advocacy.
- be considering a career focused on international peace and security issues in public-interest organizations, the Federal Government, academia, or media.
- be a non-U.S. citizen currently living in the U.S. with a valid U.S. work visa covering the full duration of the fellowship (if applicable)
- have completed a baccalaureate degree by the time the fellowship begins.
- not be a non-U.S. citizen living outside the United States.
- not intend to use the fellowship for independent research purposes in Washington, D.C.
