About The Program

Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste (SC) students of Class 11 and 12. Selected students will receive ₹300 per month for 10 months.

To be eligible, an applicant must:- 

  • be an Indian national
  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category
  • be studying in Class 11 and 12 in a recognised school/institution 
  • have secured 75% or above marks in Class 10
Benefits

Under this scheme, selected candidates will receive financial assistance of ₹300 per month for 10 months, for a total of two years.

Note:- This scholarship is in addition to the GOI scholarship and freeship.

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
