About The Program
Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship for VJNT and SBC Category, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an opportunity provided by the VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra for Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) and Special Backward Class (SBC) category for students studying in Class 11 and 12. This scheme aims to foster an interest in learning among the students by providing financial assistance to pursue higher education. Selected students will receive ₹300 per month for ten months.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- belong to Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) or Special Backward Class (SBC) category
- be studying in Class 11 and 12 in a Junior College
- have secured 75% and above marks in the Class 10 examination

The selected students will receive ₹300 per month for 10 months (applicable for scholarship and freeship).

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

- The scholarship benefits can be availed in addition to the post-matric scholarship.
- There is no income limit for the scholarship.
- Applicants with an education gap are not eligible for this scholarship.
