To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport
- be enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student in English-taught Master's programme starting from 1 September 2025
- have (will obtain) a bachelor's degree achieved outside the Netherlands
- meet the English language proficiency requirement
- be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
Note:- Applicants must not have obtained a degree from any university in the Netherlands or did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes excluded, provided that they are part of the Bachelor's degree achieved outside the Netherlands).
Benefits
The selected students will receive a reduction in their tuition fee from the standard EUR 18,000 to EUR 2,601 for the academic year 2025-26.
In addition to the scholarship, costs for a visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance for the student's stay in the Netherlands (Aon Student Insurance) will also be provided.
Note:-
- The costs of living and studying in the Netherlands are not covered by the scholarship.
- 18 scholarships are available for 2025-26.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates will be based on the following criteria:-
- Academic excellence:
- Outstanding study results in the present field of study, for example through grades, test scores, and publications.
- Relevance of the previous degree to the master’s programme.
- Ranking of the university where the applicant has obtained the previous degrees
- Ambition:
- Quality and relevance of the applicant's motivation letter for the master’s programme
- Show promise, based on previous achievements, performances, and work in the relevant field of study
- Life experience and/or extracurricular activities such as internships or volunteering
- References
- Quality of the recommendations in the two reference letters, preferably two academic references
All applicants for the Radboud Scholarship will be evaluated individually by the selection committee of the respective faculty to which they apply. The selection process is based on the criteria outlined previously. Additionally, faculties may consider other criteria in their selection process; for instance, some study programs may require interviews.
