About The Program

The Punjab Waqf Board Scholarships 2025 are offered for Muslim students in Punjab. It aims to support meritorious students pursuing studies beyond class 10 with financial aid. Selected candidates will receive scholarships of up to ₹6,000.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Dec-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a Muslim domicile of Punjab
  • be pursuing one of the eligible courses as follows:
Professional Category 1 MBBS/MS/MD/BDS/MDS/BVSC/MVSC
Professional Category 2 Engineering Courses/BUMS/BAMS/BSC Agriculture/Horticulture and related courses
Professional Category 3 LLB/LLM/BSC Nursing/BPharma etc.
Non-Professional Category All Graduate and Postgraduate courses
Meritorious Students Class 10th and 12th Pass-outs pursuing higher education
Coaching & Training Coaching for NEET/IIT-JEE/UPSC/SSC and other similar competitive examinations
  • have been selected through open competition against a government/semi-government quota seat for professional categories
  • have secured a minimum of 90% (Private school) /80% (Govt./waqf/waqf-aided school) marks in class 10/12 for post-matric and graduate categories
  • have secured a minimum of 65% marks for the postgraduate categories
  • belong to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) with an annual family income not exceeding ₹8,00,000

Note:-

  • The income criterion is not inapplicable for the Meritorious Students category.
  • Applicant should fall in the merit list in the examination to be conducted to avail scholarships under the Coaching and Training category.
Benefits

Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of:-

  • Professional Category 1: ₹6,000
  • Professional Category 2: ₹4,500
  • Professional Category 3: ₹2,500
  • Non-Professional Category: ₹1,500
  • Meritorious Students: ₹1,500
  • Coaching and Training: ₹2,000

  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Result sheet/Rank in competitive examination
  • Result sheet of class 10th/12th
  • Domicile certificate
  • A passport-size picture
  • EWS Category certificate
  • Proof of selection against Govt./Semi-Govt. quota seat (Letter from College/institute)
  • Copy of affidavit as per format
  • Picture of Bank Passbook

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1:

Step 3: Click on the respective category and then click ‘Apply Online For Scholarship’.
Step 4: Select the correct options and click ‘Proceed to Register’.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in with valid credentials.
Step 6: Fill in the required information, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
