Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research 2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an Indian national
• be enrolled full-time in a Ph.D. program in a recognised Indian academic institution
• have an industry partner willing to support the fellowship (sponsor 50% of the fellowship)
• completed the previous academic qualification

Note:- Applicants must apply within 14 months of PhD admission or registration, whichever occurs first.

• Passport-size photograph
• Proof of Ph.D. admission/enrolment
• Research proposal jointly approved by institute & industry partner
• Profile of the host institute
• Bio-data of PhD Supervisor
• Profile of Partner Company with Logo
• Bio-data of Industry Mentor
• Supervisor-Head Undertaking
• Industry Partner Undertaking in research project
• Letter from the Industry Partner (on company’s letterhead)
