About The Program

The Pre Matric Scholarships (Class 1-8) for ST Students, Karnataka 2026 is an opportunity provided by the Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka to students of Karnataka, pursuing in Classes 1 to 8. The selected students will receive financial aid for their education.  

EligibilityDeadline Date: 30-Sep-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a student domiciled in Karnataka
  • be pursuing studies in Classes 1 to 8
  • have an annual family income below ₹6,00,000
  • belong to the ST category
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive financial assistance for their education. 

Documents
  • SSLC Marks Card
  • Caste and Income Verification Certificate in the applicant's name (issued by the Tahsildar and current/valid)
  • Aadhaar Card
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the section of ‘Applicant Corner’ and click ‘Click here to create new account’. 
Step 4: Enter your Adhaar number and select 'CLICK TO PROCEED' to create an account and complete the Aadhaar registration process.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in with valid credentials and proceed with your application.

(Note: Students must successfully complete their NSP-OTR registration to avail this scholarship.)
