About The Program

The Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is an initiative of the Directorate of Tribal Welfare (State Schemes) to support the education of students of Goa from the ST category with an aim to reduce their drop out rates. The selected students will receive a scholarship award of up to ₹6,870.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a bona fide resident of the State of Goa
  • be a regular student of Class 5 to Class 10 of an institution
  • have the combined annual income of the parents/guardians not exceeding Rs. 5,00,000/- per annum
  • not be receiving any maintenance grant from any institution under the Government, local bodies, or private organizations receiving grants-in-aid from local or the Central Government.
  • not be receiving stipends or scholarships from any other source.
  • belong to the Scheduled Tribes.
  • not receive the award of stipends twice in the same standard
  • have an annual family income below ₹5,00,000
Benefits

Selected students will receive: 
Class 5 and 6 : up to ₹5,370 per annum
Class 7 and 8 : up to ₹5,490 per annum
Class 9 : up to ₹6,270 per annum
Class 10 : up to ₹6,870 per annum

For fresh students:

  • Copy of Aadhar Card
  • Attested copies of Previous Year Marksheet/Passing Certificate
  • Income Certificate for the year 2024-25
  • Copy of Bank Passbook seeded with Aadhar Card
  • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority.
  • Passport size photos
  • For renewal students:
  • Income Certificate of the year 2024-25
  • Marksheet (Previous academic year)
  • Copy of Bank Passbook seeded with Aadhar Card

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1:

Step 3: Click on the white colour ‘Register’ button.  
Step 4: In the student registration section, click on the ‘Click here’ link for registration. 
Step 5: Fill in all the details and click on the green colour ‘Register’ button to proceed with your application.

Candidates will be selected based on the student’s merit, means, and fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
