Post Matric Scholarship to SC Students, Haryana 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana, to SC students of the state who are studying at the post-matric or post-secondary level of education. The objective of this scheme is to significantly increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio of SC students in higher education, particularly those from economically weaker households, by providing them with financial assistance. The selected students will receive an academic allowance of up to ₹13,500 and other benefits.

Freeship Cards:-
All eligible students are entitled to admission in participating institutions without pre-paying tuition and hostel fees, as outlined by the Scheme Guidelines. To facilitate this, the State Government will issue a freeship card to eligible students according to the detailed procedures outlined below. This Freeship Card allows the student to enrol in the institution without upfront payment of fees. However, upon receiving the scholarship amount in their account, the student is responsible for informing the institution to collect the corresponding fees.
Before the anticipated admission date, students should register for a Freeship Card on the designated scholarship portal. The registration process requires details like the student's Aadhaar number, the desired course of study (e.g., MBBS, B.Sc., Class 11), and a signed undertaking stating that the institution's fees will be paid within seven working days of receiving the scholarship amount in their account.
The scholarship portals will remain open throughout the year for registration of freeship cards.
Eligible applicants can by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to 'Student Registration' at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant, and click on the 'Generate OTP' button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and click on the 'Verify OTP' button.
Step 6: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check the information.
Step 7: Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 8: Click the login link at the portal and enter valid credentials to apply for the scholarship.
Step 9: Provide all necessary details like course, roll no, eligibility, etc.
Step 10: Click on the 'Apply' button to save and submit the application.
