About The Program

Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC, Chhattisgarh 2026-27 is an initiative of the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste, Government of Chhattisgarh, for students studying at the post-matric level. The scholarship aims to support the higher education of students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC community in Chhattisgarh. The selected candidates will receive up to ₹3,800 per annum.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 30-Dec-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh
  • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Other Backwards Classes (OBC) category
  • have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination
  • be studying in Class 11 or above in a recognised institution of the state
  • fulfil the below-mentioned annual family income criteria:
    • for OBC students: not more than ₹1,00,000 
    • for SC/ST students: not exceed ₹2,50,000
Benefits

The students selected for the scholarship can avail the following benefits:

  • SC/ST hostellers will receive a scholarship worth ₹3,800 per annum
  • SC/ST non-hostellers will receive a scholarship worth ₹2,250 per annum
  • OBC hostellers in Class 11 will receive a scholarship worth ₹1,000 per annum
  • OBC hostellers in Class 12 will receive a scholarship worth ₹ 1,100 per annum
  • OBC non-hostellers in Class 11 will receive a scholarship worth ₹ 600 per annum
  • OBC non-hostellers in Class 12 will receive a scholarship worth ₹ 700 per annum

  • Self-attested copy of last qualifying marksheet/certificate
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Click on 'Login' and then on 'Register Student'.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process. 
Step 5: After successful registration, login with your credentials, and fill the application form.
Step 6: Use your NSP OTR ID to verify and finally submit the application. 
(Note: Before applying, students must complete their one time registration on the NSP using Aadhaar.)
