About The Program

The PM YASASVI Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students, Haryana 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana, to students pursuing post-matric level education. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC, EBC and DNT students studying at the post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. The selected candidates will receive academic allowances and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a domicile of Haryana
  • belong to the OBC, EBC or DNT category
  • be studying at a post-metric or post-secondary level of education at a government-recognised institution
  • have an annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits -

Note:-

  • Students studying through correspondence/online courses shall not be eligible for the academic allowance. However, tuition fees will be paid to them.
  • Students pursuing C A. /I.C.W.A. /C.S. /I.C.F.A. shall be treated as day scholars for academic allowance.

How can you apply?

Eligible students can apply by following the steps below:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Step 5: Click on the 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 6: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
Step 7: Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
Step 8: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note:- This is a temporary registration number, students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)
Step 9: After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
Step 10: Select the scholarship, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form.  Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.

Selection Criteria

All the applicants fulfilling the criteria and have completed the application process with all the necessary conditions will receive the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions
  • 30% of the funds allocated are reserved for girl students and 5% for students with disabilities
  • The scholarship will be provided for studies in India only.
  • All children of the same parents/guardian can avail themselves of the benefits of this scholarship.
  • The income certificate will be taken only once, which will be at the time of admission to the course.
  • Applicants are requested to fill out the application form online, with the correct and verifiable details only.
  • Funds provided under this scheme will not be utilised for any other purpose.
  • The scholarship is dependent on the satisfactory progress and conduct of the recipient. 
  • The recipients of this scholarship cannot hold any other scholarship/stipend.
  • The recipient is liable to refund the scholarship amount if the student discontinues the study for which the scholarship was originally awarded. 
  • The provisions of this scheme can be changed at anytime at the discretion of the Government of India.
  • The scholarship of a student will be cancelled in case of discontinuation of studies due to personal reasons or in case of false information provided in the online application.
  • The scholarship will not be paid for the period of internship/horsemanship in the M.B.B.S. course or for practical training in other courses if the student receives some remuneration during the internship period or some allowance/stipend during the practical training in other courses.
