About The Program
The ONGC Sports Scholarship Scheme 2025–26 is an initiative by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to promote sporting excellence among underprivileged yet talented sportspeople in India. A total of 250 scholarships will be awarded to male and female athletes in 21 recognised sports. The scheme offers monthly financial support ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000, helping young athletes to pursue their training and competitive aspirations.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a male or female sportsperson in the age group of 15 to 20 years
- have parental income of less than ₹5 lakh per annum
- be pursuing excellence in one of the 21 recognised sports disciplines (as listed on ONGC’s official website)
Benefits
Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship between ₹15,000 and ₹30,000, depending on their level of participation.
