About The Program

NUS International Undergraduate Scholarship 2026 is an opportunity provided by the National University of Singapore for outstanding students with exceptional achievements. Selected candidates will receive an annual living allowance of SGD 5,800 and other benefits.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • not be a citizen of Singapore
  • have outstanding high school results
  • apply for a full-time undergraduate degree program at NUS
  • have excellent co-curricular activities record
  • display strong leadership qualities and potential

Note:- Transfer applicants from local or overseas universities are ineligible to apply.

Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • 100% coverage of subsidised undergraduate tuition fees (after MOE Tuition Grant)
  • Annual living allowance of SGD 5,800
  • A one-time computer allowance of SGD 1,750 upon enrolment
  • Annual accommodation allowance of SGD 5,000

Note:-

  • The scholarship is transferable across programs.
  • The scholarship is renewable subject to maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or equivalent, or top 80% grades and good conduct.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

Step 3: Eligible applicants applying for undergraduate admission at the NUS will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be shortlisted for a selection interview on the strength of their application, and they will be notified through email. Selection interviews will be conducted from January to July, and interviewed candidates will be informed of the scholarship outcomes by mid-July.

NUS reserves the right not to award any scholarship if there are insufficient candidates. The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.

Terms and Conditions
  • Students must take up the MOE Tuition Grant. Holding any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary, grant, award or allowance will make the student ineligible.
  • Scholars must serve a six-year bond with a Singapore-registered company immediately after graduation.
  • Scholarship recipients are allowed one semester of overseas programs (e.g., NUS Overseas Colleges, Student Exchange) during their candidature, with at least 2 semesters of study remaining at NUS afterwards.
  • The scholarship does not guarantee any employment upon graduation.
  • The university holds the right to impose repayment of the entire disbursed amount if a scholar decides to withdraw/terminate their studies.
