About The Program
The NIMS Internship Program 2025–26 is offered by the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan. This program provides talented undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience under the guidance of leading scientists in advanced materials science. - Be an undergraduate or graduate student in science, engineering, or related fields
- Be currently enrolled at a recognized university outside Japan
- Have identified a host researcher at NIMS through the official directory (SAMURAI database)

- If you are currently receiving financial support through a Japanese Government-funded scholarship, you are not eligible for the daily allowance from NIMS.
- It takes approximately one month to review applications. The host researcher will notify you of the review results.
