NHRC Summer Internship Programme 2023

To be eligible, an applicant:

• be more than 28 years of age as on 1st January 2023
• have completed 1st year of L.L.B course OR
  • pursuing 2nd/3rd year of 3 years LLB course 
• have completed 3 years of course OR
  • be in 5th semester of 5 years course of BA/BBA.LLB, etc and pursuing 4th and 5th
• be pursuing LLM course
• pursuing MA degree in Human Rights, Political Science, Sociology, Social Work (MSW), Criminology, Public Administration, Rural Development, History, Economics, Commerce, Anthropology, International Relations and any of the disciplines of Social Sciences
• have secured a minimum of 65% in Class 12 and all subsequent semester

The selected candidates who will complete the internship will receive a stipend of INR 12,000. 

Other benefits:

• An amount of INR 15,000, INR 10,000 and INR 5,000 will be given as prize money for interns who are placed 1st,  2nd, and 3rd respectively for the Group Research Project. 
• A certificate of participation will be awarded to the candidates depending on the following parameters:
  • Attendance
  • Punctuality
  • Discipline
  • Participation in sessions (compulsory)
  • Project presentation and project reports
  • Book review
• The five interns with the highest marks for the book review will be rewarded in the form of books priced not more than INR 1,000 each.
• The top three interns from the Declaration contest will be rewarded in the form of books priced not more than INR 1,000 each.

• Scanned and attested marksheet of Class 10 and 12 and all semesters of Graduation
• Scanned recommendation letter/email by HOD/Dean/Principal concerned in the annexed proforma (annexure 1)
• Statement of Purposes (SOPs)

Step 5: Enter email id and mobile number to generate OTP.
Step 6: Enter the OTP received to 'Register' successfully.
Step 7: After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the documents and submit.
