About The Program

The Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination (NMMSE) 2025-26 is offered by the Director of the Government of Examination, Telangana. The scholarship scheme, conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Government of Telangana, is a prestigious financial award designed to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections to continue their education. Selected candidates will receive ₹12,000 per year till the completion of school.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a student studying in Class 8 in government/local body/government-aided schools in Telangana
  • have secured a minimum of 55% marks (for OC/BC students) or 50% marks (for SC/ST students) in the Class 7 final examination
  • have parental income not exceeding ₹3,50,000 per annum from all sources
  • be a resident of Telangana state

Note:-

  • Students must pass the NMMS examination to receive the scholarship.
  • The scholarship will be continued only if the student maintains satisfactory academic performance.
