The METI Government of Japan Internship 2026 is an esteemed, fully funded internship program offered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. This program provides international students with the opportunity to gain professional experience by working in Japanese companies for six weeks. The selected students will receive up to JPY 3,000 per day with other benefits.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Scroll down to 'ENTRY FOR FOREIGN TALENT' and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click on the 'Send' button for provisional registration.
Step 5: You will receive an email containing the URL to the application form. Fill in the required fields.
Step 6: Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an 'Application Complete' email at your registered email address, confirming that your application has been successfully submitted.
