About The Program
MCAER Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC) Students, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Maharashtra Council Of Agriculture Education And Research (MCAER), Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to EBC (Economic Backward Class) students enrolled in a professional, non-professional and technical diploma/degree/postgraduate courses. A 50% reimbursement of tuition and examination fees will be provided to selected students.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have been admitted to a professional, non-professional, or technical course (diploma, graduation, or postgraduate degree) in a recognized institution through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- have been admitted under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category
- have an annual family income of no more than ₹8,00,000

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Terms and Conditions
- Only two children from the same family are eligible for the scheme.
- The total annual income of the family or guardian must not exceed ₹8 lakhs.
- Students must have a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except for newly admitted students).
- There must be no gap of two or more years in the student's academic record during the course.
- Candidates are eligible only if they have been admitted under the General or SEBC category.
