About The Program

Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Sainiki School, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Social Justice and Special Assisstance, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial help to SC category students studying at government or private Sainik school. The selected students will receive an annual maintenance allowance of up to ₹15,000 for 10 months.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category
  • be pursuing studies at government or private Sainik schools 
  • have an annual family income of less than or equal to ₹2,50,000

Note:- 

  • All board saaplicants except Self Finance student school are eligible for the scheme.
  • For second instalment 60% attendance is mandatory for current academic year
  • Students are not eligible for scholarships, if they fail examination for the year.
Benefits

The selected students will receive the following benefits:-

  • For Satara, Nashik and Pune governments Sainik school students will receive scholarships with respect to fee structure (as per the school education department).
  • For private Sainik schools, students will receive ₹15,000 per annum. The scholarship will be disbursed in two instalments.

Note:-

  • Students will not receive any extra benefit for more than 10 months.
  • For less than 10 months, the beneficiary will be paid for only the number of months he attended school from the date of admission.

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
