About The Program
Maintenance Allowance for SC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste (SC) students of the state who are enrolled in professional courses. The selected candidates will receive a monthly maintenance allowance of up to ₹1,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category
- be enrolled in a professional course in a recognised institution
- be residing in a hostel (either a government, institute or outside campus)
- have an annual income less than or equal to ₹2,50,000 from all sources
Non-eligibility: Applicants should not be scholarship holders of the Government of India.
Benefits
The selected scholars will receive maintenance allowance as specified below:-

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.

Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
