Maintenance Allowance for SC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste (SC) students of the state who are enrolled in professional courses. The selected candidates will receive a monthly maintenance allowance of up to ₹1,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
Non-eligibility: Applicants should not be scholarship holders of the Government of India.
The selected scholars will receive maintenance allowance as specified below:-
Course Duration | Scholarship for students residing in Government hostels (in ₹ per month for 10 months) | Scholarship for students who are eligible for Government hostels but not admitted (in ₹ per month for 10 months) |
4 to 5 years | 700 | 1,000 |
2 to 3 years | 500 | 700 |
Below 2 years | 500 | 500 |
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captch and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
