About The Program

Maharshi Vithhal Ramaji Shinde Scholarship, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative by the Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, for SC category students studying in Classes 1 to 10  at government or private institutions. The selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of up to ₹200 per month for 10 months.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a resident of Maharashtra
  • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community
  • be studying in Classes 1 to 10 in government, government-aided, or private non-aided schools in Maharashtra
  • belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) category family
  • have passed in all subjects in the previous academic year

Note:- 

  • Students must have passed the previous class to qualify for the scholarship.
  • To receive the second instalment of this scholarship, applicants should have at least 60% attendance in the current academic year.
  • Students from all boards except those attending self-financing schools are eligible.
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

Note:- The maximum benefit of the scholarship is for a duration of 10 months. If a student attends school for less than 10 months, they will receive payments only for the number of months they were enrolled in school, starting from their admission date.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

Step 5: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
