About The Program
The Maargadeepam Scholarship 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala, for school students of the state. It offers financial aid through scholarships to students in classes 1 to 8. Selected candidates will receive ₹1,500 for the current academic year.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 29-Sep-2025
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a permanent resident of Kerala
- belong to notified minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis)
- be studying in class 1 to 8 in a government/government-aided school in Kerala
Note:-
- Female applicants have a 30% reservation, which will be opened in case of insufficient submissions.
- Students with physical or mental disabilities (40% or more) and students who have suffered the loss of a parent will be given preference
- Only 2 children from the same family can apply.
- Students receiving other scholarships are ineligible.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive ₹1,500 for the current academic year.

- Community certificate or minority certificate issued by the village officer
- Bank passbook (Student/Joint account with parent or guardian)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Death certificate of parents (if applicable)
