About The Program

Lt. Governor Student Support (REWA) Scholarship 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh for students pursuing higher education. Selected candidates will receive financial assistance of up to ₹1,54,000.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a resident of the union territory of Ladakh
  • be pursuing studies in an educational institution of Ladakh and be the children of central government officials, All India Service Officers, Officials of PSUs and autonomous bodies of the central government, Public Sector Banks, and officials of statutory bodies (for class 10th exams)
  • plan to appear in the NEET, JEE, UG CLAT and NDA examinations OR
  • qualify the preliminary examination of the Civil Services, Indian Forest Service and Indian Engineering Service

Note:- Students of Ladakh who are currently pursuing their studies outside of Ladakh are eligible if they have passed the Class 12 examination.

Benefits

For national-level entrance exams, selected candidates will receive:-

  • Reimbursement of the total cost of the coaching program (for residential institutes): Up to ₹1,00,000.
  • Reimbursement of coaching fee (including admission, tuition, etc.) for day boarding institute/online/correspondence coaching: Up to ₹64,000.
  • Expenditure for boarding/lodging (₹3000 per month) for day boarding institute/online/correspondence coaching: Up to ₹36,000.

For national-level competitive exams, selected candidates will receive:-

  • Reimbursement of Coaching fee (including admission, tuition, etc.) for classroom/online/correspondence coaching: Up to ₹1,00,000
  • Expenditure for boarding/lodging (₹3000 per month): Up to ₹54,000

Note:-

  • Boarding/lodging months will be calculated based on the model duration of coaching and up to 12 months (entrance exam), and 18 months (competitive exam).
  • The amount will be transferred directly to the candidates.
