About The Program

The JMI Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship 2024-25 is offered by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. This scholarship is a prestigious financial award designed to support students from economically weaker sections pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate full-time regular courses. Selected candidates will receive a fee reimbursement of ₹10,000 per academic year.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • be a citizen of India
  • be a bona fide student of Jamia Millia Islamia enrolled in an undergraduate/postgraduate full-time regular course
  • have at least 75% attendance
  • have passed either the class 12 examination (for undergraduate students) OR an undergraduate degree (for postgraduate students)
  • be from an economically weaker section with family income not exceeding ₹2,00,000 per annum
  • have good conduct and satisfactory academic performance

Note: 

  • This scheme is not available for students of self-financed courses. 
  • Female students will be given preference, with at least 50% of total scholarships reserved for them. 
  • Students who have been awarded this scholarship are entitled to receive a stipend or financial assistance from other sources, but must immediately inform the Dean, Students' Welfare if they receive such assistance. 
  • No student shall be allowed to avail more than one scholarship from Jamia.
Benefits

The selected students will receive a fee reimbursement of  ₹10,000 per academic per annum. 

Note: Students must apply afresh for continuation of the scholarship.

Step 7: Submit the completed application to the Scholarship Section.
