Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology Summer Internship 2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be currently pursuing a Master's degree (MSc / MTech / MS) or 
• be in the 4th / 5th year of an integrated BS-MS program
• have a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in all examinations from SSC (10th standard) onwards
• have obtained prior email consent from an IITM scientist mentor agreeing to guide the student
• have a Letter of Recommendation from the Head of Department (on departmental letterhead)

Note: 

• Obtaining the consent of an IITM scientist mentor does not guarantee selection. Selection is based purely on merit as per the procedure adopted by the Academic Cell.

• Recent photograph (100 KB)
