Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) Chandrasekhar Post-Doctoral Fellowships 2024

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:-

• A monthly fellowship of ₹75,000 for candidates with up to 2 years of post-doctoral experience and ₹80,000 for the ones who have experience of more than 2 years
• An annual contingency grant of ₹2,00,000
• Housing (subject to availability), medical, and other benefits under the prevailing rules of the institute
• Travel support by economy airfare at the time of taking up the assignment

Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship using the steps listed below:-

Steps to Pre-register:

Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Create an Account' option at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in the details and submit to 'Pre-register'.
Step 5: After successful pre-registration, the application will be reviewed.
Step 6: After the review, the applicants will be asked to submit the application for fellowship.

To apply for the fellowship, the applicants are required to follow the following steps:-
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Login' option at the top of the dashboard.
Step 2: Login using the valid credentials.
Step 3: Fill in the required details and submit the application form.
