There will be a two-tier selection process. The Selection Committee will initially shortlist candidates, who will then present to the Committee. Ultimately, the Committee will recommend a nominee for the INAE Young Innovator & Entrepreneur Award. If no suitable nomination is found, no award will be given that year.

About The Program
The Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) aims to encourage and recognise innovation and entrepreneurship among Young Engineers. Selected candidates will receive ₹1,00,000 and a citation.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- not exceed 45 years of age as of 1 January 2025
- have their novel engineering/technology ideas translated into successful startup enterprises
