About The Program
The IKS Division Internship Program 2026-27 is an opportunity provided by the Indian Knowledge System Division, Government of India. The internship aims to encourage the youth towards various topics related to IKS, and create opportunities for students to contribute and be involved in active research during the summer breaks or anytime during the year. Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of up to ₹10,000 monthly and a certificate.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be aged between 16 - 30 years
- be pursuing/completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognised institution
- have applied for the internship under the available disciplines offered:
- Vedic philosophical and cognitive sciences
- Historical and civilizational sciences
- Contemporary social/cultural sciences
- Mathematical, astronomical or physical sciences
- Speech and linguistics
- Political, economic and strategic sciences
- Medical and health sciences
- Culinary, nutritional and pharmacological sciences
- Agricultural science, veterinary and animal sciences
- Performing arts
- Mechanical and digital design and engineering
- Civil and agricultural sciences
- Fine arts and sculpture
- Chemical, metallurgical and materials sciences
- Fashion and interior design
- Edutiantment sciences
Note:- Only one high-quality internship proposal will be accepted from each institution.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of up to ₹10,000 for the duration of their internship and a certificate.
