About The Program

The IIT Tirupati Summer Internship 2026 is an opportunity provided by the  Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati, to students in the pre-final year of their undergraduate or post-graduate studies. This 2-month internship provides an opportunity for the students to work with experienced faculty at IIT-Tirupati. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹5,000 and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be in studying in the pre-final year of UG or PG studies 
  • be enorlled in the following courses:
    • B.E.
    • B.Tech.
    • B.Sc. 
    • B.A. 
    • M.Sc.
    • M.A.
Benefits
  • The selected candidate will receive free accommodation.
  • The top 5 performing students from every department will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. 
Documents
  • Marksheets of Class 10, 12, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree (Merged document only in PDF format).
  • No Objection Certificate/Declaration from the student’s institution (Only PDF format).
  • Curriculum Vitae with two references (Only PDF format).
  • Statement of Purpose (Only PDF format)
  • Any other relevant academic certificates or certificates of achievement (Only PDF format).
  • Photograph and Signature (Only JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats)

(Note:- Each document uploaded should have a maximum size of up to 1MB)
 

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 3: Click on the ‘Notification for two months of Summer Internship at IIT Tirupati - Click Here’ on the announcement bar.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Click here to apply’ button in the document that opens up.
Step 5: Fill in all the details in the Intern Registration Portal and upload all the mentioned documents.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
