About The Program
IIT Palakkad Summer Internships 2026, an opportunity provided by IIT Palakkad, is a six-week residential opportunity to explore the world of research and ignite their interest in academic and research-focused careers. The program is an amalgamation of hands-on training in research with exposure to using different hardware and software analysis tools. A Stipend of ₹12,000 will be provided to participants on successful completion of the internship.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a postgraduate student
- be a student studying in the 4th or 5th year of an integrated master's program in Science, Engineering, or the Humanities
- be a student studying in the 3rd or 4th year of a four-year bachelor's degree program in Engineering/Technology/Sciences
Note:-
Indian and international students can apply for this internship. However, students currently enrolled at IIT Palakkad are not eligible.

The selected candidate will receive a stipend of ₹12,000 on satisfactory completion of the internship.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the internship through the following steps:-

Step 3: You will receive an Email. Use the link in it to log in to your account and set your password
Step 4: Login to this portal using your username and password and complete your application.
(Note:-
You will have to scan and upload a bona fide certificate from your institution/department in the specified format.
Convert the CGPA into percentage using this formula: Percentage of marks =(10 x CGPA))

Terms and Conditions
- Internship certificates will be awarded only upon successful completion of the program.
- Selected participants will receive a stipend of ₹8,000 per month (₹12,000 total for the six-week period).
- Shared accommodation is available on campus. Interns are responsible for paying hostel room rent and mess food charges.
- Foreign nationals enrolled in Indian universities/institutes will be considered domestic applicants for the purposes of this internship.
