About The Program
The IIT Jammu RISE-UP Program 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu, to Pre-final year graduate/undergraduate non-IIT Jammu students. This 6 to 8 weeks internship provides an opportunity for the students to gain invaluable research experience under the guidance of the faculty at IIT Jammu. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be in the 3rd year (nearing completion) of a 4-year BE/B.Tech course OR
- be in the 1st year (nearing completion) of a 2-year M.Sc/M.Tech course
- have good technical and programming skills

The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,000.

Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the steps mentioned below -

Step 5: Fill in all the mentioned details and click on the ‘GET STARTED’ button.
Step 6: You will receive an email verification link on your email ID from the RISE UP Portal.
Step 7: Click on the link, and you will be redirected to the page to set your account password.
Step 8: Enter the password of your choice and click on the ‘SETUP PASSWORD’ button.
Step 9: Click the OK button on the pop-up that appears on the page.
Step 10: Enter your email address and password and click on the ‘ENTER’ button to log in to your account.
Step 11: Fill in all the necessary details to proceed with your application.

Terms and Conditions
- Students may contact the faculty members of IIT-Jammu before submitting the online application form.
- This is a fully offline internship.
- Students must select one primary and one secondary project based on their research interest. The research question can be changed later with the consent of the student and the supervisor.
- Interns will have to bear the expenses of the hostel and mess facilities at IIT Jammu.
