About The Program
The IIRS External Student Internship Program 2025 is offered by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Department of Space (DoS), ISRO. It aims to provide valuable hands-on research and training experience to meritorious students pursuing their studies in science, technology, engineering, and related disciplines. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training, mentorship from ISRO scientists, and a completion certificate along with invaluable research experience in space technology and remote sensing applications.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Oct-2025
To be eligible for the Internship, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be pursuing UG/PG/PhD from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad) in Science/Technology disciplines, or have completed within six months of application
- have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10
To be eligible for the student project trainee scheme, an applicant must:-
meet specific semester requirements based on degree level:
- Engineering (BE/BTech): Should have completed 6th semester
- ME/MTech: Should have completed the 1st semester
- BSc/Diploma: Only final-year students
- MSc: Should have completed 1st semester
- PhD: Scholars should have completed coursework
(Note:- Only Indian nationals are eligible.)
