About The Program

The ICCR Yuva Mitra Prize 2025 is an initiative by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India. This prize aims to recognise and support young ICCR scholars, artists, writers, and cultural enthusiasts who contribute to promoting India's rich heritage. Selected winners will receive a cash prize of up to ₹30,000, a certificate of recognition, and opportunities to showcase their work at ICCR events.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 30-Jun-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an ICCR scholar
  • be engaged in Indian cultural promotion
  • be actively involved in cultural, artistic, or literary activities on their social media
  • have displayed the work  within the last 6 months
  • follow all social media handles of ICCR

Note: Previous year recipients can also apply, but cannot win more than once in a single calendar year.

Benefits

Selected scholars will receive a cash prize as a reward:-

  • First Prize: ₹30,000
  • Second Prize: ₹25,000
  • Third Prize: ₹15,000

Note: These prizes will be distributed annually, on a quarterly basis.

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1:
Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Scroll down and click on ‘click here to participate’, and a form will be opened.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.

Selection Criteria

The ICCR Screening Committee, consisting of the following officials, will be responsible for shortlisting the top 10 entries:

  • Program Director (Chairman)
  • Program Officer (Member)
  • Media Consultant (Member)

The final winners will then be selected by the Jury Panel, which includes:

  • Director General, ICCR (Chairman)
  • Deputy Director General, ICCR (Member)
  • Two Director-level officials (Members)
  • One official from the Administration/Finance Section
Terms and Conditions
  • ICCR retains the authority to amend the guidelines at its discretion without prior notification.
  • Participants must ensure that all submissions adhere to copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Any expenses related to content creation shall be borne solely by the participant.
  • ICCR reserves the right to utilise submitted content for promotional activities while ensuring due credit is given.
  • All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
  • The Jury’s decision is final and binding on all participants, and no appeals or inquiries regarding the outcome will be entertained.
