The ICANN Fellowship Program 2025 is offered by ICANN* for individuals interested in or already engaged in the various working components of the organisation. It seeks to enhance the representation of the multistakeholder model by creating opportunities for individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities to participate actively in the community. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of up to USD 500 and other benefits.
*The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), established in 1998, is a global nonprofit that coordinates unique Internet identifiers like domain names and IP addresses. Through its bottom-up, multi-stakeholder model, ICANN ensures a secure, stable, and unified Internet, while promoting global participation, education, and collaboration in shaping the Internet’s future.

A selection committee will shortlist applicants based on diversity, experience, ICANN knowledge and engagement, and potential for future engagement. Applicants from underserved and underrepresented communities displaying financial need will receive priority.
Successful candidates will receive an email notification, and their names will be displayed on the ICANN website. They must accept the fellowship invitation within a week.
