About The Program
The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2026 is an opportunity provided by Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) to students seeking a full-time PhD admission at a University in Hong Kong. The selected candidates shall receive an annual stipend of HK$340,800 (₹38,71,829 approx.) and other benefits.

The selected candidates will receive:

- conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$14,200
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 3: Click on the blue colour ‘Apply Now’ button on the right hand side of the page.
Step 4: Scroll down to the ‘Application Procedures’ section and click on the link below ‘For information and admission requirements of individual universities, please visit’.
Step 5: Enter all the details and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button.
Step 6: Click on the name of the university you are interested in out of the eight listed and click on the ‘Online Application’ link.
Step 7: This will redirect you to the application link of that specific university where you can proceed with the fellowship application.
