About The Program
Home Nursing Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is offered by the Tribal Affairs, Government of Goa, to provide financial assistance to poor and meritorious Scheduled Tribe students. The scheme enables eligible students to pursue various Home Nursing courses, such as certificate, diploma, degree, and health worker programs at institutions recognised by the State/Central Government. The selected students will receive up to ₹20,000 and other benefits.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
- be a student born in Goa or a resident for at least 15 years
- be admitted to an institution recognised by the State/Central Government for one of the following courses:
- Certificate Course in Home Nursing (6–12 months)
- Diploma in Home Nursing (1 year or more)
- Degree in Nursing (3 years)
- Health Worker Course (1 year)
- have an annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000 from all sources
- not be availing of any other scholarship/stipend for the same course.
Note:- An applicant must not claim a scholarship during internship/housemanship if receiving remuneration or allowance.
Benefits
Selected students will receive:-
- Course fee:
- Certificate courses: ₹7,000 or actual (whichever is less)
- Diploma courses: ₹10,000 or actual (whichever is less)
- Degree courses: ₹20,000 or actual (whichever is less)
- Worker courses: ₹7,000 or actual (whichever is less)
- Maintenance allowance: ₹1,000 (day scholar) or ₹1,600 (hosteler) per month.
- One-time expenditure:
- Certificate courses: ₹2,000
- Diploma courses: ₹4,000
- Degree courses: ₹6,000
- Worker courses: ₹4,000

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

Step 6: Confirm the entered data, click ‘Login’ at the top of the page, and enter valid credentials.
Step 7: After logging in, verify the details and make changes if necessary.
Step 8: Follow the instructions to complete and submit the application.
