About The Program
The Government of India Pre-Matric Scholarship, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, for SC category students studying Classes 9 and 10 at government or private institutions. The selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹350 and Adhoc grant up to ₹1,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category
- be studying in Class 9 and 10 at government, government-aided, private, or non-aided schools or institutions
- have an annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the awards in the following manner:-
