About The Program
The Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa, to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students of classes 10 -12. It provides financial assistance for coaching classes and prepares students for professional courses, such as Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Law, CA, and Paramedical Sciences. Selected candidates will receive a 75% reimbursement towards coaching fees.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- be a regular, full-time student in a government/gov-recognised School in Goa
- opt for coaching fee reimbursements for one of the following specified subjects:
- Class 10: Mathematics, Science & English
- Class 11: (Science) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- Class 12: (Science) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology; (Commerce) Accountancy, Mathematics; (Arts) English, Economics
Note:- Students pursuing courses through open schooling are not eligible.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:-
- 75% reimbursement of the coaching fees:
- Up to ₹10,000 per subject per year for rural areas
- Up to ₹12,000 per subject per year for urban areas
Instalment Structure:
- First Instalment (50%): Paid during the first term upon submission of the fee receipt.
- Second Instalment (25%): Paid upon submission of the first term attendance certificate.
Note: The reimbursement amount is disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the student's bank account.

- Passport-size photograph of applicant
- Caste certificate issued by a competent authority
- Birth certificate issued by a competent authority
- Aadhaar card issued by a competent authority
- Bank mandate form (with account details)
- Bank passbook
- Student identity card (issued by the educational institute)
- Fee Receipt along with the fee structure of the courses offered by the coaching institute, group-wise
Note:- Self-attested copies of the documents must be submitted.

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

Step 5: Fill in the required fields and click ‘Register’.
Step 6: Confirm the entered data, click ‘Login’ at the top of the page, and enter valid credentials.
Step 7: After logging in, verify the details and make changes if necessary.
Step 8: Follow the instructions to complete and submit the application.
