About The Program

Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen, Maharashtra 2025-26 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, the Government of Maharashtra to provide financial aid to children of ex-servicemen pursuing higher education. The selected students will receive a 100% waiver of fees incurred on admission, semester exams, and library including the laboratory fees.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • be a child, wife, or widow of an ex-serviceman
  • be pursuing studies in a government/government-aided college in Maharashtra

Note:- Applicants domiciled in Maharashtra, studying outside the state, cannot apply for this scheme.

The selected students will receive a 100% waiver of fees incurred on admission, semester exams, and library, including the laboratory fee.

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.
