About The Program

DTE Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojana (EBC) for Maharashtra Students, 2024-25 is an initiative of the Maharashtra State Department of Technical Education aimed at providing financial assistance to EBC students admitted to diploma, degree, or postgraduate professional courses through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The scheme seeks to alleviate the financial burden on students pursuing higher education. Selected students will receive up to 100% of their tuition and exam fees.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • have taken admission in a professional and technical course (diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree) as mentioned in the Government Resolution (GR)
  • be admitted through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
  • have secured a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except for fresh college admits)
  • have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000

Note:- Students studying in Deemed Universities and Private Universities are ineligible for this scheme.

Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • Male students: 50% of the tuition and exam fees
  • Female students: 100% of the tuition and exam fees

The awards will be disbursed in two instalments in an Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

Documents
  • Marksheet of Class 10 (SSC) and onwards
  • Domicile certificate of Maharashtra
  • Family's annual income certificate
  • CAP-related documents
  • Proof of biometric attendance (Interface UIDAI)
  • An undertaking stating that no more than two family members are availing benefits from this scheme in the current year
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions
  • The applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend to be eligible for the scheme.
  • A maximum of 2 children from the same family can avail the benefits of the scheme for the ongoing academic year.
  • The candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more years throughout the course duration.
