DTE Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna, Maharashtra 2022-23 is an initiative of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial aid to students who are wards of registered labour/marginal farmers and have taken admission in technical and professional courses in government, government-funded and non-affiliated colleges/polytechnics. The selected students will receive financial aid of up to INR 30,000 for 10 months.

Deadline31-Mar-2023 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a resident of Maharashtra
- be a child of registered labour/child of Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder)
- be a ”Bonafide Student of Institute”
- be admitted for Professional and Technical courses (Diploma/Graduation/Postgraduation degree) as mentioned in GR
- have an annual family income of less than INR 8 lakh
- have secured a minimum 50% attendance in the previous semester (exception for fresh admitted to college)
Benefits For a child of Registered Labor/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) -
- For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City- INR 30,000 for 10 months
- For students studying in an institute located in other areas - INR 20,000 for 10 months
For students having an annual income of up to INR 8 lakhs -
- For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City- INR 10,000 for 10 months
- For students studying in an institute located in other areas - INR 8,000 for 10 months

- Undertaking “In the current year, not more than 2 beneficiaries from the same family”

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'.
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
Terms and Conditions
- During the course duration, the candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more years.
- Students studying in Deemed Universities and Private Universities are not applicable for the scholarship.
- Only 2 children from a family are allowed to benefit from the scheme for the current academic year.
- Applicants who are availing any other scholarship/stipend cannot apply for this scholarship.
