About The Program
The DRDO-PXE Chandipur Internship 2026 is offered by Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Chandipur — a premier establishment under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. This internship is designed to give outstanding final-year engineering students hands-on experience in the testing and evaluation of armament systems. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 for a period of six months.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a full-time undergraduate engineering (B.Tech.) student currently in the 7th or 8th semester
- have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 out of 10 in all previous semesters
- be below 28 years of age as on 01 May 2026
- be studying at a recognised Indian university or institute
- be enrolled in one of the following disciplines:
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Benefits
Selected students will receive:
- A monthly stipend of ₹5,000 for the full six-month internship period
- Hands-on experience in defence research and armament testing at a premier DRDO establishment
- A certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the internship, including project evaluation and report submission

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official portal at mgos.jharkhand.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using your username and password.)
Step 3: Download the application form from the official DRDO portal.
Step 4:Fill in the application form completely and accurately (as per Appendix A).
Step 5: Collect a request letter from your college Principal or Director (as per Appendix B). This letter should only be provided for deserving and meritorious students.
Step 6: Attach all required documents to the completed application.
Step 7:Send the complete application by Speed Post or Registered Post to:
